JUWWI, who landed a wholesale ganble at Thirsk last Saturday, will not, after all, be attempting a quick follow-up at Goodwood tomorrow.

But his trainer Milton Bradley, a dab hand with sprinters, can still take the honours in the Fairclough Homes Handicap with Full Spate, my Nap selection.

Bradley had intended running Juwwi again tomorrow but the Thirsk hero was burdened with 7lb penalty and the decision was made this morning to leave him at home.

Full Spate is a more than able substitute, the six-year-old having given notice that his winning turn was near at Thirsk eleven days ago when he finished fourth to Technician from a poor draw.

Pat Eddery has significantly been booked for the mount on Full Spate tomorrow and a bold bid is anticipated.

Sir Michael Stoute gave a strong hint yesterday that Kieren Fallon would stick with his 2,000 Guineas winner Golan in the Vodafone Derby, instead of renewing his association with his other runner, Dilshaan, last week's gutsy winner of the Dante Stakes on Knavesmire.

Tomorrow, Stoute gives Fallon the leg-up on Lillium in the Victor Chandler Lupe Stakes and I fancy this dual juvenile winner to return to action in a blaze of glory.

Moon Solitaire promises to take plenty of beating in the Chichester Festival Theatre Conditions Stakes.

Trained by the in-form Ed Dunlop, the four-year-old showed bags of courage when scoring at Newmarket last month. A follow-up looks on the cards with Richard Hughes again booked for the ride.

No less than £50,000 is up for grabs in the ABN Amro Handicap, which looks a good opportunity for the Kevin Darley-ridden Blue Reigns to hit the jackpot.

A useful performer, Blue Reigns, trained by Nick Littmoden, was narrowly beaten at Newbury on his reappearance over six furlongs. Tomorrow's slightly longer distance might suit him better.

Also worth noting at Goodwood are the promising Al Ihsas (3.05) and the aptly-named newcomer Goodwood Promise (4.45), trained by John Dunlop and the mount of Pat Eddery - an irresistable combination at present.

Remarkably, Goodwood is the only Flat meeting tomorrow afternoon, complemented by two jumping fixtures.

At Bangor, the Cumbrian partnership of Nicky Richards and Tony Dobbin can make their presence felt with the potentially smart Jazz d'Estruval in the Maelor Intermediate Hurdle.
