The man accused of causing the death of the ten people killed in the Selby rail crash today appeared before York Crown Court.
Gary Neil Hart, 36, faces ten charges of causing death by dangerous driving on the M62 at Great Heck.
Judge Michael Mettyear ordered that he enter his plea on July 13 at Leeds Crown Court before Mr Justice Henriques. On that day, the date of his trial is likely to be set. Hart, of Church Lane, Strubby, Alford, Lincolnshire, was released on conditional bail. He was represented by barrister Gordon Aspden and is expected to have a QC leading his case at trial. Andrew Dallas led the prosecution at today's hearing.
