DAVE O'Hara was in excellent form for Bumper Castle in York John Smith's Mixed Darts League.

He recorded 17 darts, but could not prevent Bumper losing 8-3 to Cygnet 'A' whose Dave Gibbons shot a fine 20.

Doreen Johnstone won in 24 darts for Slipper 'B' against Three Tuns, whose only reply came from Keith Walsh.

Golden Slipper 'A' came up with the three pairs games to pip Cygnet 'B' 5-4, while Huntington 'A' extended their lead at the top by whitewashing Leeman 'B'.

Shepherd 'A' team maintained pole position in York John Smith's Men's League division one with a 7-2 win at Cygnet.

Mick Willsden waded in with 180 for 18 darts, Rod Thompson gamed in 19, John Dykes checked 144 for 21 darts and Kev Walton was a 180 scorer.

Poacher's Ray McInally included a maximum in a 5-4 win from 3-0 down to Holgate, secured by Trevor and Shaun Day.

Mick Summers included four tons plus and Glynn Jeffrey a 180 score in a 6-3 victory over Osbaldwick, while Ron Simpson threw 180 as Trafalgar defeated Shepherd 'B', whose only win came from Ian Yates.

Derek Alexander and Darren Hoban combined to get Green Tree 'B' a 5-4 win over Saddle whose Andy King stood out.

Phil Smith and Andy Mercer recorded good wins to get Victoria Vaults an important division two point, but Cygnet's Derrick Elliott partnered Neal Hartley to clinch the match result.

Sun 'A' again lost valuable points. Swan's Barry McLoughlin threw an excellent 180 for 18 darts, Ged McMahon played well and Paul Hayes closed the match with a bullseye out-shot.

Leaders Lighthorseman were made to fight for the points by Slip, but Paul Bartnett and Paul Woodall saw them home.
