The motorcyclist and passenger who were killed on a Ryedale road have been named.
Lee Routledge, 27, a serving soldier from Swinton, near Malton, was riding the bike when it left the Keldholme-to-Amotherby road, near Kirbymoorside on Monday.
The passenger was 24-year-old Karen Parkinson from Northumberland.
The road was closed after the red Kawasaki bike left the road near a bend and collided with a tree.
