REJUVENATED Mike Hall picks up his first Evening Press/Guildford Construc-tion player of the year points this week.

The on-loan Hull KR full-back is awarded three points as man of the match against Barrow for an impressive display.

He joined the line well and was the Wasps' most dangerous player going forward.

Awarding the rest of the points was no easy task with few players making much of an impression.

The two points goes to loose forward Nathan Pincher for his workmanlike effort while Gavin Molloy gets the remaining point, just for not doing too much wrong.

With just three games left, Andy Hutchinson has just about tied up the £350 first prize. Realistically Darren Crake is the only man who can catch him although Hutchinson will not get the chance to make certain of the title tomorrow as he is suspended.

The £150 second prize is much closer and looks set to go down to the wire, with the now departed Gareth Dobson still holding the edge.

In a new points system designed this season, the top player in each match is awarded three points, the second best player two points and the third best one.

The cash prizes are supplied by sponsor Guildford Construction.
