THE Bootham School Under-13s Girls' tennis squad will go on to represent York at the regional finals after storming to the HSBC York Schools' Tennis League title.
The squad, comprising Kate Empson, Rebecca Vines, Marianne Forrest and Sophie Bell-Syer, won all five of their matches in the competitition.
Lis Hooley, head of girls' Physical Education at Bootham School, said: "They are strong players and have enjoyed a very good season.
"Now it's fingers crossed for the next stage."
