TWO people have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a police officer at a barbecue in Selby.
PC Rod Bloxham, 28, needed treatment at York District Hospital following the incident, but was later discharged and is now recovering at home.
North Yorkshire Police said a juvenile had been charged with wounding and was due to appear before York Youth Court on Tuesday.
A woman has been charged with assault, resisting arrest and affray. She will appear before Selby Magistrates on Thursday.
