ACOMB batsman Michael Mortimer was dropped before he had scored and then went on to make 110 to help his side win by 43 runs in their East Riding Sunday Cricket League match at Dringhouses. Mortimer was well supported by John Renshaw (52) and James Byford (32). When Dringhouses replied runs came quickly but wickets tumbled until Ray Klarick (64 not out) and Mick Kenyon (66 not out) shared a partnership of 135. But the target was beyond Dringhouses, who finished on 191 for four.
