PUB landlord Shaun Collinge is heading to London to take up his seat in a new parliament.
The die-hard Leeds United fan, who runs The Maltings, in Tanner's Moat, York, has been picked as a people's pundit for ITV's new-style Premiership football coverage.
Having won the battle for the rights to show Premiership highlights, the network will screen its new The Premiership show, with former BBC Match Of The Day frontman Des Lynam, at peak viewing time on Saturdays. Extra analysis will follow on Monday nights with The Premiership Parliament, where fans from each of the 20 clubs will join celebrities, managers and professional pundits for televised debate on the latest action.
Shaun was recruited to represent Leeds United fans after being recommended by friend and TV sports commentator Guy Mowbray. Leeds United travel to Bootham Crescent tonight for a pre-season friendly against York City.
