AN INQUEST into the death of a young woman in a Ryedale car accident has been opened and adjourned.
Alix Potter, 19, of Shaw Drive, Kirkbymoorside, a full-time hotel worker, died when her car was involved in a collision on the A169 between Pickering and Malton early on Saturday.
North Yorkshire East coroner Michael Oakley adjourned the inquest to a date to be arranged.
