MANY poor people in the world are surviving on one meagre source of income - harvesting the raw materials for drugs to the benefit of no one but terrorists and drug barons.
It is appalling to think that one top professional footballer alone could prevent this situation for 600 of these poor souls for one year with just one week's wages. There would be fewer drugs, less crime and less heartbreak for millions.
