AN urgent appeal has gone out for teams to take part in a sponsored Army assault course - to raise vital funds for the British Red Cross.
The event is due to take place at Strensall Barracks, York, on Saturday, October 27.
In conjunction with the Kings Division recruiting team (North East), the British Red Cross is challenging people to have fun, get fit, and build team spirit, while raising cash for a worthwhile charity.
Senior fundraiser Denise Warren said: "In the present climate, we need to come together as a community. This event will show how committed this region is to caring for those within its community who require our care and support."
Details for registering for the course can be obtained from Denise on 01482 499839.
