York RUFC Under-9s were in dominant form as they ran away with the Ken Habergham Trophy at the Morley Festival.
A tight opening game saw York edge past Doncaster with tries from Jack Maud and Adam Johnson, while the strong running of Paul Bowes and the tackling of Daniel Harrison helped them to a five tries to nil victory against Yarnbury.
York then wrapped up the title with a five tries to one win over the hosts Morley to retain the title they won at U8s.
