I SEE once again that the Nimbys from Bilbrough have plagued the Evening Press whinging about people driving along their road - and I thought it was a public highway.
Living in the city, we have to put up with people (perhaps from country villages?) driving their little darlings to school and clogging the streets, when the children could ride cycles, use a bus or even walk!
Not so long ago Ordnance Survey had a TV advert recommending such country diversions to avoid traffic jams such as on the A64. So what's the answer to that one then? Yes, it's okay but not through Bilbrough.
