GRAFFITI artist Rick Shipley returned home to help Haxby youngsters decorate their hut.
The York-born spray painter was finishing off the Haxby and Wigginton youth shelter, designed by members.
Rick, a former pupil of Lowfield School, Acomb, founded the Mural Minds company in Bradford five years ago.
It works with children across the country to bring out their artistic and creative abilities.
Last summer Rick helped youngsters at the centre create a mural for its roof.
This weekend they worked on new side panels.
"The young people came up with the idea while working on the mural," said Rick.
"I was keen to help, and I always enjoy coming back to work in York."
