POLICE have arrested two teenagers in connection with shootings in Clifton.
A woman claimed she was hit on the arm with an air rifle on Friday, while a young boy also said he had been shot.
Sergeant Colin Ventress, of York Police, said: "Following an article in the Evening Press, two 17-year-olds have been arrested in the Clifton area.
"The two have been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of common assault and possessing a firearm.
They will appear before York youth court on October 23.
