Pocklington came back from behind to win 3-2 at home to Dunnington in a repeat of last year's final. By half time it looked as though it would be the same result as Dringhouses took a 2-0 lead with goals from Steve Cross and Dave Clark.
It was 20 minutes from time before David O'Connor reduced the arrears for Pocklington and the same player equalised from close range. The tie looked like going into extra time but following an almighty scramble Ian Mularky netted the winner for Pocklington.
Copmanthorpe went into the third round thanks to winning 9-8 on penalties at Heworth. The score was 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes and 2-2 after extra time.
All the goals came in the second half as Nestl Rowntree won 3-1 at home to White Horse. An own goal put Nestle ahead, Paul Roberts equalised and then Eddie Phillips and Danny Sellars were on target for Nestle.
Sam Bothomley netted from the penalty spot to give Norton United a 1-0 win at home to Easingwold Town in a game well refereed by Mal Harrison.
