Dancing Mystery, a winner at Newmarket 12 months ago, can gain a repeat victory tomorrow.

Eric Wheeler's smart sprinter again goes for the £15,000 Pearl & Coutts Rated Handicap and I expect him to achieve back-to-back wins in this five-furlongs dash. Apprentice Steve Carson again has the mount.

Dancing Mystery comes into the race in cracking form. At Ascot as recently as last Saturday, he won a competitive handicap by one and three-quarter lengths from Guinea Hunter.

The 3lb penalty he picked-up for that success hardly looks enough to anchor him tomorrow and he is awarded the Nap vote.

The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy Nursery looks a trappy event, but Ithrair should not be underestimated in the hands of Richard Hills.

Trained by John Dunlop, this promising colt has run three good races in defeat in maiden company, not least at Leicester last time when he was beaten only four lengths into seventh by the well-regarded Indian Dreamer.

Ithrair has been competing over seven furlongs, but tomorrow's shorter distance is unlikely to inconvenience him and, off what looks to be a fair mark in his first handicap, he commands plenty of respect.

Mark Johnston, who withdrew all three of his intended runners at Leicester yesterday in protest at the lack of stabling at the course, will have no such complaints tomorrow at the Headquarters of racing.

The Middleham trainer, who last weekend sent out his 100th winner for the eight consecutive season, saddles Riberac in the feature race of the afternoon, the Pearl & Coutts Severals Stakes. Kevin Darley's mount should give a good account of herself.

A determined front-runner, Riberac has enjoyed a fine campaign and her recent third to Independence in the Sun Chariot Stakes on this course confirmed her to be still in good heart.

Darryll Holland can steer Harlequin to victory in the opening Grosvenor Rated Handicap.

Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, whose regular jockey Kieren Fallon is currently serving a suspension, Harlequin finished a respectable fifth to Hannibal Lad at Ascot three weeks ago.

That effort came after a three-month break and it is reasonable to assume that Harlequin may have benefitted enough as a result to get back in the winning groove here.

Argue, who runs in the Sharron Murgatroyd Selling Stakes, and Ghannam, who bids for the EBF Snailwell Stud Maiden Stakes, were both beaten favourites on their debuts, but I fancy both of them to recover losses by winning their respective races tomorrow.
