YOUNG actors are stealing the show with curtain-raising performances of a West End classic.
Youngsters from Kirkham Henry Performing Arts Centre, in Malton, are taking centre stage in a performance of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at York's Grand Opera House.
Aged between six and 15, the performers have a key role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical, which is running at the venue until Saturday.
They are going down a storm with theatre-goers, said Jenny Henry, of the centre. She said: "This is the sixth time that we have taken part in this kind of production and, as usual in York, the audiences have been very enthusiastic. I have been very impressed with the performances of our young actors and hope it continues."
Tickets for the musical cost between £11 and £22 and are available by contacting the Grand Opera House box office on 01904 671818.
