FIRST division leaders Kirkdale United lost their first points of the season when they lost 3-1 at Rosedale.

Ken Weatherall opened the scoring after 30 minutes for Rosedale for whom second half goals followed from Chris James and Richard Wilkinson. Those strikes sandwiched John Bell's reply for Kirkdale who had a first half penalty saved by Ian Ward.

Black Swan remained second after a 2-0 home win against Slingsby with both goals scored in the first half by Rob Kerr.

Kirkbymoorside Reserves moved up into third after a 5-0 home win against Sinnington. On target were Phil Butler, David Smith, Andrew Wilkinson and substitutes David Gardner and Grant Liddle.

Aislaby United beat visitors Ampleforth 4-1. Dave Wallinger scored to give Ampleforth the lead in the first half before Simon King equalised after good work by Colin Frank.

Aislaby took the lead in the second half when Kenny Temple scored to add to further goals from Frank Temple.

Union Rovers are sixth after winning the Malton local derby against Old Malton 3rds 4-1, Paul Holder scored to give Union the first half lead.

In the second division, Amotherby & Swinton had to battle it out when they visited Bagby and Balk, who took a two-goal first half lead through Paul Fountain and Anthony Hewston.

A brace of Chris Rio goals saw Amotherby & Swinton draw level only for Bagby and Balk to regain the lead when Hewson scored his second.

Substitute Nick Robinson equalised for Amotherby & Swinton who then went on to win 8-3 with three further goals from Robinson to add to one apiece from Simon Wall and Darren Clifford.

Duncombe Park remain second after a 4-2 home win against Pickering Royal Oak in a game of two halves. Royal Oak lead 2-0 at half time with a goal each for Matthew Wilkinson and Dameon Cox.

Park stormed back to win the points with second half goals from Paul Brackley (penalty), Liam Ogunsmakin (2).

Coxwold moved up into third place after a 3-1 home win against Thornton-le-Dale.

Daniel Jaques scored to give Coxwold a first minute lead but five minutes later Jonathan Scoble equalised.

Coxwold won the game with second half goals by Roger Howard and Eddie Myers.

Heslerton Reserves and Old Red House share the points in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Chris Pinchbeck scored to give Old Red House the lead, Ashley Cooke equalised before half time.

In the second half Heslerton took the lead when Curtis Drummond scored his first goal of the season but Old Red House equalised with a last minute effort from Tom Kendall.
