Trainer Ron Hodges can win the race named after his former course specialist Hard To Figure at Bath tomorrow.

Hodges saddles Bandanna in the five-furlongs dash and I fancy the four-year-old to prevail in the hands of up-and-coming apprentice David Kinsella.

Overdue another win, Bandanna has slipped to a decent handicap mark and he would only need to reproduce his creditable second-place effort behind Glenrock at Chester last month to feature in the shake-up here.

Bandanna, who scored over this course and distance last season, can bounce back to form here and give Hodges good reason to fondly recall the exploits of Hard To Figure, who won no fewer than eight races at Bath.

Second Paige is awarded my Nap vote in the Phil De Glanville Handicap.

The Neil Graham trained four-year-old has struggled to get his head in front this season, but he gave notice at York a fortnight ago that his winning turn is imminent when he finished sixth to Bow Strada.

Over a slightly shorter distance tomorrow, Second Paige is definitely worth another chance and he could well pop up at rewarding odds.

Recent winner Mandoob has good prospects of completing a double in the See You Here Next April Handicap.

Brett Johnson's four-year-old showed a good attitude to win by half-a-length from Cancun Caribe at Nottingham last time and looks capable of winning a similar event here.

Significantly, Kieren Fallon has been booked for the mount.

At Brighton, Midnight Creek is worthy of support in the Brighton Racecourse Antiques Fair Handicap.

Amanda Perratt's three-year-old has enjoyed a profitable campaign and it is noteworthy that the trainer has booked Micky Doyle to take the mount.

Doyle rode a big-priced winner at Newmarket last week for his boss Ian Balding and then failed by a whisker to win Saturday's Cesarewitch Handicap when Balding saddled the first two horses home.

The John Smith's Classified Stakes is a tricky contest, but La Passione should be involved in the finish.

Henry Cecil's filly got off the mark at Haydock last month when she underlined her ability to handle testing ground. She should go well under Richard Quinn.

Remedy, a good winner at Pontefract earlier this week, can complete a rapid double in the Royal and Sun Alliance Energy Nursery.

Seb Sanders takes the mount on Sir Mark Prescott's juvenile, who is unlikely to be inconvenienced by a 6lb penalty.
