THIS is the picture police chiefs hope will jog the memories of people in York.
For it is the likeness of a man pulled from the River Ouse in the city nearly a fortnight ago.
Detectives have still been unable to name the man who was seen falling into the river, close to Scarborough Bridge, on October 12.
A post mortem revealed he died from drowning. Crime has been ruled out as a factor.
Officers are already hoping a metal plate, which the man gained during recent surgery, could prove to be the key to his identity. The man is believed to be aged between 50 to 70. He is about 5ft 9in tall and of slim build. Anybody with information is asked to contact York police on 01904 631321.
