THE Evening Press is giving York City fans the chance to quiz Minstermen skipper Chris Brass on-line.

Midfield general Brass will visit the Evening Press offices on Monday, November 12, to take part in our Internet question and answer session.

The event will be run along similar lines to the successful forums we ran with manager Terry Dolan and chairman Douglas Craig last season.

Although there may be a chance to submit questions on the night, to be guaranteed a personal response from the City captain fans should submit their posers in advance.

Questions on City and football-related topics should be sent via e-mail to on the above link.

Fans can also submit questions by post, writing to Dave Stanford, sports desk, Evening Press, PO Box 29, 76/86 Walmgate, York YO1 9YN.

Meanwhile, City reserves' Avon Insurance League division one clash with Stockport County last night was postponed following a crash on the M62.

The County team coach became stuck in a 17-mile tailback after an accident near Huddersfield.

With Stockport unlikely to arrive in York before 8.30pm, referee Stephen Proctor-Green was forced to call-off the game at 6.40pm some 20 minutes before the scheduled 7pm kick-off.

The game will now be rearranged for later in the season.
