SLEIGH days are here again. Santa is to touch down in St Sampson's Square, York, this Christmas after two years without a custom-built grotto to call his own.
The new grotto, along with the city's improved illuminations, will help to make this a particularly merry and bright festive season. Now all we need is a snow shower or two to complete the scene. Having persuaded Santa to come back, we are sure it cannot be beyond the York authorities to arrange this.
