YORK RUFC's promising young second row Dan Greenwood has earned himself a starting spot in the Yorkshire Under-18s side for Sunday's Northern Division Championship clash against Durham.

Greenwood, who has been on the bench for the county's previous ties, has been named ahead of Middlesbrough's Tom Ellis for the tie at Hull Ionians (kick-off 2pm).

Harrogate's Alex Bewick is also named in the team after returning from a shoulder injury.

Yorkshire go into the match on the back of two previous victories - against Cheshire and Cumbria - confident of making it a hat-trick of wins.

Yorkshire complete their programme on November 11 with a home fixture against the old enemy Lancashire at Old Otliensians RUFC.
