TWO Tadcaster Swim Squad members represented Yorkshire in the English county age group championships, while 11 others bagged 30 medals in the Harrogate Junior Open Gala.
Amy Clayden and Peter Webster were part of the Yorkshire team which retained the Inter-Counties title, both performing well against the best in the country at Pond's Forge
Meanwhile, at Harrogate, Andrew Cowan was the star performer.
He collected nine medals, including gold in the 200metres backstroke and breaststroke events to finish as third top boy in the 12-year age group. Adam Milner, 13, also had a 100 per cent return with medals from all of his six swims, including a silver and a bronze and there were five medals, including a bronze for Felicity Prior in the 14-year age group. Anna Horwell collected a bronze to go with her other medal and Carl Johnson had his best day with four medals.
Ten-year-old Kristian Stafford collected two medals in the 200m backstroke and butterfly, the latter event providing Simon Fenton, also ten with a well deserved medal. The medal haul was completed by Naomi Boynton, 11, also in the 200m butterfly.
There were good swims and times from Bobbie Horner, Kara Johnson and Matthew Fiddler.
