MARTIN House Children's Hospice at Boston Spa has announced that a staggering £1,546,901 has been raised for the A Place For Us Appeal.
The building work on the new Teenage Unit began on September 17 and is progressing well.
Helene Stone, fundraiser at the hospice, said: "Now the young people we work with can see their dreams becoming a reality.
"We now have over 350 event organisers who have committed themselves to support the appeal in an interesting variety of ways.
