AN 87-year-old man has died after a car crash at Scarborough.
The man, who has not yet been named, but is local, was driving a green Rover when it was in collision with a green Vauxhall in Scalby Road, close to its junction with Station Road and High Street, at about 10.20am yesterday. The other driver, Ronald Allen, 68, and his wife Hilda, 65, both from Burniston, were taken to Scarborough General Hospital with superficial injuries, and later released.
