HUNDREDS gasped with delight as the night sky above a York village exploded in a kaleidoscope of colour.
The people of New Earswick celebrated bonfire night three days early last night, with a dazzling firework display and giant bonfire at the sports and social club, in White Rose Avenue.
The club's annual bonfire event also featured a funfair, hot food and drink and a licensed bar.
