WITH this year's flat racing season coming to a close nothing highlights the ups and downs of horse racing more than the down-turn in the fortunes of top trainer Henry Cecil and top owner Robert Sangster, both having found winners hard to come by.
No sooner has national hunt racing got into the swing than leading jump jockey, Richard Johnson, breaks a leg. Better luck to all next season, not forgetting our little darling, people's horse Evening Press, who can only get better.
