NEIL Cheetham, the former Heworth Golf Club professional now attached to Barlborough Links, Doncaster, needed to make a big improvement in today's in order to qualify for next year's European PGA Tour.
After making Saturday's cut in the qualifying school in Spain, Cheetham faltered with a four over 75 yesterday to drop from 33rd to 58th. Only 35 plus ties qualify after the completion of the sixth and final round at San Roque.
