A MOTORIST suffered serious injuries when her car turned over on the A1, police said.
The 22-year-old woman's car left the southbound carriageway at Walshford, near Wetherby, hit the central reservation and somersaulted back on to the road, last night.
The woman, from Tyne and Wear, was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with serious head and hand injuries.
