SWANSEA City put their League problems behind them to book a place in the second round of the FA Cup with Sunday's 4-0 demolition of Queens Park Rangers.

Having failed to stave off the drop last season, the cash-strapped Welsh outfit have found life anything but easy in Division Three.

Former York City striker and Scarborough manager Colin Addison took charge 14 games ago but has so far celebrated just four wins.

However, the thumping of Second Division QPR, including a goal from former City striker John Williams, was their second in succession and was arguably Swansea's best performance since Addison took charge in September.

It seems likely therefore Addison will stick by the side that swept aside Rangers, persisting with Williams and French front man Mamady Sidive up front.

It is a partnership that has started to blossom in recent weeks. Williams has scored four goals since signing in the summer while Sidive has scored three times in his last two outings after missing two matches through injury.

However, he has options should he also want to rest some weary legs.

Former Scarborough striker Steve Brodie could be on the bench having yet to feature since his £5,000 transfer from the McCain Stadium last week.

Central defender Neil Sharp could also return having been cup-tied on Sunday.

On-loan Reading quick-fire striker Nathan Tyson will not feature after making a sooner than expected return to the Madejski Stadium yesterday.

Tyson's three-month loan deal was due to end later this month but after the youngster turned down the chance to sign a season-long deal Addison has decided to call time on his Vetch Field stay.
