I READ this week that the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has found that the British economy is becoming increasingly aligned with the Euro-zone.
It proves that our long-term interest rates are virtually the same, the slack in our economy is almost identical and our growth rates are going to be only slightly different.
This new report adds to an existing great weight of evidence proving we are converging with the Euro-zone. The time is right to start on the road to joining, to secure in the long term our nation's prosperity and the 3.5 million jobs which depend on our EU membership.
