I WAS disappointed when I read your article about Ashdale's demise (November 27). My sympathy is with the friends and colleagues who have lost their employment, but the report implied that there are no other specialist providers in the York area.
There are a number, including myself, who supply the same mobility and healthcare equipment.
Surely it would be responsible to highlight this rather than play on the vulnerability of those who require such services by provoking their concern?
