So Selby district councillors have decided to pay themselves to provide their service to the citizens of Selby and district (Councillors to get wage, December 5). As a council tax payer, I don't remember being consulted about this.
Perhaps they should put themselves up for re-election under this manifesto and give us, the electorate, an opportunity to have our say.
After all, as usual, it would appear that we are the ones who will have to pay for it.
