I can't express how much hurt the York City supporter feels at Douglas Craig's actions.

It seems he has had his, and the board's, mind made up for some time on the issue, certainly since July 2001 when he will have seen the accounts and the club losses.

How can Mr Craig think he has the right to £4.5 million for the ground ?

The supporters club built the popular stand, and the programme shop, the Longhurst Stand by fund-raising, and he thinks it is his.

He does not have any support for York City, this must be clear. And what about the rest of the board ?

I recently spoke briefly to Mr.Craig and I am very surprised by his decision. He should do the honorable thing, sell his shares back for what he paid (£1 per share) and walk away.

He and fellow directors have businesses in York. Do they seriously think that people will trust them after their actions against York City.

I hope that someone such as Gordon Gibb or the BTCC man comes in and buys the ground, then works with the supporters trust to bring the club forward and get the mercenary current board well away from the club.
