JUDGING by Wednesday's excellent editorial, the Evening Press is now alive to Douglas Craig's intentions.

No doubt a number of pertinent questions will be asked of the man.

One might be why he and his fellow directors are breaking away from the tradition of selling their shares at the price they bought them - if, as they claim, they are fans.

Craig is still slagging off City fans, even after he's ripped the heart out of the club.

The most poignant - and most telling - picture in Wednesday's Press was of Barry Swallow proudly leading out the York City team for their first-ever Division Two match at Bootham Crescent.

Now Swallow is one of those leading City to extinction. How sad is that?
