SORRY Bryan (Letters, January 10). Do I really sound such an old misery?
You know I'm not. Of course I enjoyed being with my lovely family at Christmas. This year I promise to try to ignore the manic consumerism and obscene commercialisation that starts about October and then I will be more relaxed to enjoy next Christmas.
Hopefully, we will sing carols together again.
