THIEVES stole about £2,000 of stock from a York shop after throwing a flag stone through a window.
Digital cameras and photographic equipment were snatched from a display cabinet at Argos, in Bridge Street, sometime during the night of February 21.
A police spokeswoman said a concrete flag stone had been hurled through a window in the door.
Staff spent much of the next morning cleaning up glass left by the shattered window.
