York duo John and David Stroughair won the The Evans Property Group Yorkshire Knockout Competition pairs crown for a record fifth time beating Hornsea's Paul Hargreaves and Mark Goodyear 24-13.
They lost their first end but then scored a four on the second which proved to be the cushion to build on.
With the score at 16-13 to John, pictured above, and David the Stroughairs' experience started to shine through as they pulled away to beat their opponents with one end to play.
