York's Stuart Weston is on top of the world after lowering the colours of snooker ace Dennis Taylor.

The Fulford Conservative Club member beat Taylor, the 1985 world champion, on the pink during the Embassy Snooker Roadshow evening at his home club. He was one of five players who took on Taylor, but the other four - Neil Wood, Ray Robson, Richard Stroughair and Rakesh Aggawal - were all beaten by the genial Northern Irishman, who later gave a display of trick shots.
