Jordan Worabec has become division one champion at the end of the first season of the York and District Snooker Association Ace 4 Computers Junior Handicap League.
He clinched the title with a 2-1 win over Craig Jackson to finish the season on 16 points and take the championship by virtue of having won more frames than runner-up Adam Scaife, who also ended with 16 points.
Steven Gregson beat his younger brother Lee 4-0 to win the second division championship. Both finished with 19 points but Steven won one more frame than Lee.
York and District Snooker Association's next monthly meeting will be on Tuesday, April 9, at the Cueball Club, James Street, starting at 8pm.
Team registrations for the Summer Handicap League, which starts next month, have to be handed in at this meeting along with the £20 registration fee. Any teams or individuals wishing to play in a team in the Summer League but who do not have registration forms can contact league secretary Phil Anderson on 01904 422527 to have the form sent by post, or they can attend next Tuesday's meeting to register.
