YORK-BASED Shepherd Engineering Services (SES) has appointed Mark Perkins as new regional director to take control of its southern region.
He succeeds Morris Whitehead who now begins a new role as SES national sales director.
Mr Perkins has spent his entire career within the mechanical and electrical industry, most recently as regional operations manager for Haden Young in London.
Allan McDougall, managing director of SES, said: "Under the leadership of Morris Whitehead, SES Southern Region has grown from zero to a turnover of £25 million in three years, and has successfully completed a range of complex and demanding projects.
"We are delighted to welcome Mark to SES and wish him every success in developing the south in the future, and leading the excellent team we have in place in the region."
