ROBIN White and his daughter Georgina won the Nestl Family Tennis Tournament mixed doubles title in Rowntree Park for the first time.
The Whites, who live at Sutton-under-Whitestone Cliffe, normally only play social tennis but are regular supporters of this tournament.
They played some consistent tennis to beat Richard and Rachel Cantrell 6-1.
The mother and daughter event produced a particularly good contest before Christine and Kathryn Place beat holders Sue and Karen Espiner 6-4.
The Espiners, bidding to win the trophy for the third year in succession and champions on a previous occasion, were 4-3 up in the final before their opponents edged home to win their sixth title since 1988.
Wigginton pair Stuart Langley and Phil Langley took the father and son trophy with a 6-2 win over Paul and Adam Harper from Brandesburton.
Stuart, chairman of the competition, was runner-up a year ago with his younger son James, and was completing his third success with Phil.
Poppleton received the trophy for the best supporting club.
