HOGG the Builder, of Strensall, claimed today that it has had its most successful March ever, selling 23 of its available 30 properties.
The 30-year-old family business whose philosophy is "never to build two houses exactly the same", yielded £4.6 million in the process.
While March has traditionally been a successful month for Hogg the Builder, director John Tongue attributes this year's record sales and continuing high demand to a particularly buoyant housing market in York and the surrounding area, combined with a marketing strategy to attract buyers from outside the region.
He said: "This year is looking very good for us so far, but we are not resting on our laurels and we're continuing to develop in new locations throughout the York and East Yorkshire areas."
