AS a father of two daughters, I support wholeheartedly the belief of Alan and Marjorie Stuttle - who are among my best friends - that young people should be allowed to follow their dreams.

The fight of our lives comes in preventing the world from stealing those dreams.

The American philosopher Benjamin Franklin observed that most of us die at 25 and are buried at 65.

How tragic, yet true.
