MEMORIES of the York Blitz flooded back to me while reading York's Darkest Hour. I remember especially my dad's level-headed courage during the Baedeker Raid.
Since studying your moving tribute, I admire more than ever the bravery, common sense and good humour displayed by so many people on April 29, 1942.
