HELMSLEY
ON Tuesday, May 2, Helmsley YFC held a mock auction at Mr and Mrs Bell's farm, Weather Cote Farm, Sutton Bank. We would like to thank them and also thank Mr R Bell for providing some equipment for the evening and Mr Philip Place, an auctioneer from Boulton and Cooper, for being our auctioneer for the evening.
Helmsley YFC would also like to thank Mr Richard Bell, a member of Helmsley YFC and agricultural contractor from Weather Cote Farm, Sutton Bank, for kindly sponsoring our club shirts; we are very grateful.
We would like to remind people of our 70th anniversary dinner at the Feathers Hotel (Helmsley) on June 15. Any past or present members who are interested in attending should contact Robert Arrand on (01439) 771336 as soon as possible.
RYEDALE
RYEDALE District YFC held their annual AGM in the Rose & Crown, Nawton. The evening brought changes as Ian Teesdale (Rillington) stepped down as chairman and Ian Teesdale (Helmsley) took up the role.
