ON May 25, Charles and Valerie Marwood will hold a sale of pedigree gimmer lambs at Foulrice Farm, Whenby.
The Foulrice flock, which is one of the largest and best known flocks of Charollais sheep in the country, was established in 1982 and has won honours at all the major shows in the country since then.
The Marwoods, like all other breeders, were unable to sell many sheep last year because of foot and mouth and this draft sale is the total crop of last year's gimmer lambs and contains some very good sheep
